Product Care & Maintenance

Because beautiful lighting deserves beautiful care.

1. First Impressions — Unboxing Your Lamp

  • Carefully remove your lamp from the packaging to avoid scratches or dents.

  • Retain the original packaging for at least 30 days in case you wish to return or exchange the item.

  • Check all included parts and installation instructions before mounting.

2. Installation Guidelines

  • Follow the provided instructions carefully or hire a qualified electrician for installation.

  • Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and stable before mounting.

  • Avoid placing the lamp in overly humid or wet areas unless specified as suitable for such environments.

3. Daily Use

  • Always switch off the lamp before cleaning or replacing the bulb.

  • Use the recommended bulb type and wattage to prevent overheating or damage.

  • Avoid prolonged operation at maximum brightness for heat-sensitive materials like rattan or bamboo.

4. Cleaning & Dusting

  • Rattan, Bamboo, Wicker: Gently dust with a soft, dry cloth or use a small handheld vacuum with a brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, lightly dampen a cloth with water (no detergents) and wipe gently.

  • Metal or Painted Surfaces: Use a clean, slightly damp microfiber cloth, then dry immediately to prevent water marks.

  • Glass or Acrylic Shades: Wipe with a non-abrasive glass cleaner sprayed onto a cloth (never directly onto the lamp).

5. Avoid

  • Harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive sponges that may damage finishes.

  • Direct exposure to intense sunlight over long periods, which may cause fading.

  • Placing the lamp in areas with high humidity (bathrooms, kitchens) unless it is specifically designed for such environments.

6. Seasonal & Long-Term Care

  • Every 3–6 months, check screws and fittings to ensure stability.

  • Replace bulbs as soon as they burn out to avoid strain on electrical components.

  • For rattan and bamboo, occasional application of a natural oil (e.g., linseed oil) can help maintain flexibility and prevent drying out.

7. Storage

If you need to store your lamp, wrap it in a breathable fabric (not plastic) and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or dampness.

💡 A well-loved lamp doesn’t just light your home — it becomes part of its soul. Treat it with care, and it will glow for years to come.
